If you used scale questions in your evaluation, Caracal shows a Reference Overview for each scale question at the bottom of the results page. In this overview, the score for this specific evaluation is compared against the [faculty] average. This allows you, for example, to quickly see whether the average answer to the question from the course evaluation falls within the standard deviation of the faculty average.

For each scale question, the reference overviews show how this evaluation scores compared to all other evaluations that used this scale question within the [faculty].

The large box (dotted line) with the bold line in the middle shows the average result of the question in this course evaluation. The small grey box with the small line shows the average result of the question across all course evaluations of the [faculty].
